Sparkling Wines

Prosecco, Cava, Crémant, Champagne, or other Sparkling wines?

Most people think of Prosecco or Champagne when it comes to sparkling wines but there are other choices.

Sparkling wines, fermented in bottle as described as Traditional or Classic method, which includes Champagnes, Cava and many other sparkling wines from around the world, including England & South Africa. Other sparkling wines are fermented before bottling.

Crémant is often recommended by Wine Experts as an alternative to Prosecco & Champagne.
Graham Beck sparkling wine is often recommended by Wine Experts as an alternative to Champagne.

If well chilled: Remove from fridge 10-20 mins before drinking. This removes the miniature ice crystals that can form and could numb your taste buds and reduce the flavour quality.
If not chilled: Place in fridge for at least 20 minutes before drinking. DO NOT FREEZE.

I don't drink much Sparkling wine myself so these are mainly customer favourites.
